People often make a mistake of stretching the muscles that don’t need stretching, and not stretching the muscles that need it.

If we are stretching in a good form, and we do not feel any tightness, that muscle doesn’t need that particular stretch.

Sometimes right before I go to bed I feel like I have RLS and sometimes I wonder if it’s because I’m not stretching often enough? Today, however, I went on 2 runs when I rarely exercise to begin with, so I’m sure that’s why I’m sore in this instance.

Thank you for your comment, Cathy! I am sorry, it is not possible for me to offer recommendations over the internet about what troubles you, especially if it may be RLS or any other medical condition. Please discuss this with your Yoga teacher, and perhaps an MD? :)
