Broken. Busy.

busy

As a yoga teacher and studio owner, I meet many people with a broken body, mind and / or heart.

When I say a broken body – I mean it in a compassionate, non-patronizing way.

They inquire about Yoga, hoping to improve their condition.

The people can be divided into two groups.

First, are the people who come to class regularly – those get better.

Second, are the people who are “busy”. I tell them: if you are “busy”, we cannot help you. You have to get “un-busy” first.

I practically invented this phrase: get un-busy. Go on, you can use it, if you want to.
